Since Nawkaw was founded in Canada, the company’s name pays homage to its originating country. The term “nawkaw” comes from the sound that the Canada goose makes when it travels south for winter.

Our products are water-based and made with environmentally friendly ingredients. Designed for concrete and masonry, they include water, lightfast colourants, and durable binders.

Nawkaw products and services are ideal for external surfaces, including brick, block, mortar, concrete, and stone. They can also be used for interior applications, such as fireplaces or accent walls. Our products are typically recommended for vertical surfaces.

Before our team arrives, we recommend moving any furniture or items away from the walls to give us clear access to the areas being stained. If possible, please remove any wall decorations or fixtures.
